3000rpm gsk question???

By looking at my specs do you guys think ill see a worth while power gain with the 3000 gsk. Any downsides, engine life??? How many rpm's should I try to achieve and what size washers would I need? Thanks

You won't gain any power other than above where it now revs to. It lets you stay full throttle right until it shifts instead of having the power drop off starting at 2300 or so. The only downside is you timing could slip if the nut hasn't been re-torqued above stock spec., as it takes more power to turn the pump at higher rpms. Don't run it over about 3300 or so unless you upgrade all your valve springs.

you'll notice a big difference down low from 1250+. It pulls through the whole powerband alot better. It will definently feel like u gained a ton of power.

On my 95 it was a night/day difference. It literally felt like a new truck. May have more affect on auto's, I'm not sure. Possibly THE best mod to date.

Throw one half inch washer in it...you won't hurt anything, it will still stay well below the rate at which valves start to float. You'll thank us after you do it. Look at the truck in my sig. I have the 4k GSK in my 95...relly woke the truck up!
