2wd 2500 and Modified Cummins Power?
2wd 2500 and Modified Cummins Power?
Even with limited-slip or locker in the rear-end, can a two-wheel drive 2500 with a mildly modified Cummins put the power to the ground without spinning everywhere (I'll be getting a stick if that matters)??
In the rain and snow they're tricky. Mine will spin the duals in the rain in every gear. On dry pavement no problems, although I'm sure I could light 'em up in 3rd if I didn't have a dually. My sig is current as to the power I have.
with my slug of a turbo, I don't really have traction problems... sometimes it'll dust the tires in 3rd, but from a dead stop in 2nd, it's fine... with the stock turbo, it'd spin pretty hard in 2nd... now the turbo spools slow and there isn't enough load on the thing in 2nd to break them loose usually... sometimes it'll break 'em loose in 3rd, but not bad, and by 4th, it's all good.

my 4wd in 2wd doesn't have a problem unless I want it to. If I want it to, I can leave a big cloud of tire smoke, but tires get expensive.
The dualy has no problem, but it's not quite as modified.
