ok i got a question. if u were to change a 24v over to a p-pump, and u have a comp already, what do u do with the comp then? just use it for timing? or is it basically useless? what if u want more fuel with this setup? just add bigger injectors? thanks just curious.

you sell the comp to help off-set the cost of the conversion. and as far as selling and buying a older 12 valve, never, I know what has been done to my truck, who has done it and why. My next truck will be a 97-98 12 valve with a 24 valve head, just so when I'm at a pull and something breaks, I got a parts truck sitting in the parking lot

i got all my conversion parts just buy trading around. I traded a hot vp and drag comp for everything except the bolts for the air horn. i had the pump checked out 4000 springs and it already had full cut delivery valves in it. i know this guy very well he had 480 in the .120 lines and spacers got the cover from a junk yard for 100 bucks and the gear for 125 from a differnet yard.

i helped my buddy with his conversion and all we did was buy the lines and he traded the head off his 97 for a head off an 05 with a cracked block and we just swapped heads... he spent about $2500 on 4kgsk, 191s, and valve springs and got a high tech 66 outta the whole deal too!!!
