2003 Tool Box and Bed Rail Cap Recommendations
Re:2003 Tool Box and Bed Rail Cap Recommendations
I've got LINE-X over the rails. Looks good. I just bought a DeeZee chest type tool box and it wouldn't fit in my truck. The brackets to bolt it in pushed it from the front of the bed about 3" and made it sit almost completely on top of the wheel wells. Even without the brackets, it sat on top of the wheel wells. Unfortunately, TSC didn't have the type of over the rail tool boxes I wanted so I ended up not getting one. :'( My dad's got I think a Koenig or something like that tool box in his truck. It's a deep well that sits on top of the bed rails. That thing has held up to everything. We've hit it so many times with the fourwheeler it's not even funny. I'll find out tonight what it is and I'll let you know. I'll also find out what bed caps he got as well.

Weatherguard, Hoss. My son's is 5 years old, and it looks like the day he bought it. Automotive grade lid gasket. Be prepared to pay though; I think 4-5 bills.
Unfortunately, any diamond plate bed rails you get won't last as long as those boxes. The finish will begin to craze after a couple of years.

Anyone have pictures of the Line-X over the rails??

Click on the bottom pointer in my sig, and you will see a picture of my Line-X over the rail - it's from a bit of a distance, so might not help, but the coating itself is VERY nicely done, and I wouldn't be without it...
Here's a pic that might be better...
