Wink 12V Airdog Or FASS??

We are working on a 1997 12V that is heavily fueled. I was wondering what we should be feeding the injection pump for fuel pressure? This way I can select the proper Airdog or FASS. Thanks for any help or input.

You'll want the 45 psi units. I would also look at the Mitusa pumps. Keeping it mechanical is much simpler. Thats my plan for when lift pump won't keep up for my 12v.

They don't make them for anything older than a 1998.5-09

All the cummins are virtually the same. You can make one work on there. Plumbing would be much easier, in fact, since you just run it right through the p-pump and let the OFV regulate pressures. The VP has a weird plumbing setup to regulate the pressure.

He wants a FASS. I was looking and they have a 90gal/hour @ 45 psi or 200gal/hour @ 50 psi. Which one would you run Tate? It's for that big white chev crew cab that come up to that GTG at AFI 2 years ago.

I'm running the 90 GPH on mine. Never had low pressure with it yet, and I'm moving a fair bit of fuel now. I'll be moving more by spring, we'll see how it keeps up. I don't forsee and issue though. 200 gph seems overkill unless its an all out competition rig. That truck is too shiny to scream competition.

How much flow is the stock lift pump good for? I don't think I will ever run out, but just curious. I am thinking one more step up for injectors in the spring.

I have heard guys have done 600hp on stock lift pumps. I think you will be fine if you step up to some 140hp sticks. I haven't had any issues. If your towing days are over with the 97, I'd look at getting some Smokem injectors a bit bigger for fun. I forget which shop is doing them now, but I hear they about the best 12v injector out there now.
