If it was me, i'd grind your stock plate to look like this one, its a combo of a #10 and #4 plates, got the idea from Fueling Around, it works great in my truck,

Well

id say the 10 is the most commonly used one,a nd is also the one that most ppl have success and experience with. its perfect to tow and so forth if you dont wanna watch the Pyro.. A wicked all around plate is NORTHSLOPES 100 plate.. Please see my pic gallery for details. I personally did away with my banks (temporarily put away) and am running his 100, all i can say is WOW!! if you have enough air to burn that fuel and keep the EGTS cool, ur in for a treat with his plates...

Tx

It depends on what you are doing.

A #10 with a 5 speed is a pretty hot combination. You will need to watch your EGT's as they can get out of hand. Fo you plan on upgrading your clutch?

I understand TST will swap you back if you're not happy. If you get the #11 and it's not enough you can exchange it for a #10. Piers also told me that you don't have to put the plate in the place dictated by the template. About .040 back and it will tone it down quite a bit if your drivetrain isn't ready for all the extra power.

Put the #10 plate in..and just move it back from stock position about 40k and it will work fine and the clutch will hold..
