1/4 tank question walbro users

No problem at all. 99% of 1/4 tank issues are either improper installation of the suction piping, or a faulty fuel level sending unit.
I'll let you decide which problem is which.
For information only, I have the walbro, with a draw straw from Vulcan performance. My tank is supposed to hold 132 liters, and I have put 127 in. I think thats as close to where you want to be, as physically possible.
I do NOT promote running a tank that close to empty, as fuel cools and lubes your delivery system, however, when caught extremely short, that was the result.

Thats a pick-up tube problem, not a pump issue. A lot of guys measure the depth of the tank when its on a jack, pushing the bottom up and making the tube too short. When the tank is in the truck, its sagging down and will not be able get all the fuel. I put my draw straw in with the tank still in place, with a fair amount of fuel still in it, never had any issues with it sucking air. I've had the needle beyond the E line.
