I had my lift pump replaced under warranty at dealer with the in-tank conversion setup. Will the Glacier/Walbro kit for an 05 model work on my truck now or will I still need the 03 kit? Or can I just put a 1/2" fitting like the one FASS offers into my tank and plumb from there, thus leaving my new converted stock pump in tack in case of a Walbro failure on the road? I was thinking of doing this type setup with a custom wire/switch and fuel inlet to either run stock or Walbro pump. I may have to run 2 ball valves of some sort on the fuel line to turn off stock pump inlet so it cannot back feed thru the pump while not running. I am not sure if either pump has some sort of internal "one way direction" for flow or not so I may not need to plumb that up and run a "Y" fitting from both pumps into filter housing. Anyone put this kit on a 03 or 04 with the conversion mod?

I spoke with Richard at GDP, about this very same thing. He said that with the in tank pump you would need to go with the 05 and up kit. Call him he usuall always answers his phone.
