Walbro with the in-tank pump

I was wondering if you any of you guys ran the Walbro with the in-tank pump style hooked up? I know if you do this you have to use the Draw Straw II. So my questions to you folks is, would I be ok running the Walbro with the in-tank pump, or should I take the extra time and drop the in-tank pump out and just run the regular style Walbro?

So you have the in-tank LP but are still not happy with your fuel pressure? I don't know about adding anything in series with the in-tank LP. Just don't have any experience or know enough about the in-tank LP, but I would assume that it would limit your supply to any other pump. I am supprised some one did not chime in

I must of been one of the rare few that got suckered into the in-tank pump.

No you are not the only one that got suckered into that in-tank pump. I experimented with the in-tank with another pump in series with it and became flustrated. You can put the Walbro in series with the in-tank but in the end you will be putting a Draw Straw II in the tank to fix your problems. The Walbro is a high volume pump and needs all the fuel it can get. So my advice is to do it right the first time and not get stranded by the in-tank pump. What I mean by that is if the in-tank pump goes bad the walbro cannot pull fuel past it. So you are stranded on the side of the road.

When I did my walbro I dropped the tank and installed the walbro off to the side of the intank pump and left it in there, so I still have the sending unit and if my walbro ever goes out i can still hook the intank back up while im getting a new one, but doing it this way takes some time to install but nothing to in depth
