got a project truck 06 mega cab dually got a 12 valve in it now got a few things to do to get everything working in it got to mount the tone wheel on the outside of the crank pulled hook up exhaust and other stupid stuff anyone ever been into swaps like this before any tips looking to beef up the power also looking at a super b set of injectors and moving the fuel plate any other suggestions

 

Don't mean to hijack your thread but I have some questions for you on your swap. I have my CR engine out, and have my 12valve ready to go in.

1. Did you use the commonrail or 12valve engine mounts, and did you need to do anything different with the crossmember?

2. How are you running the hydroboost? The 12valve pump, or CR pump?

3. How did you plumb in the return for the fuel line?

sorry for the long wait for a reply cr mounts with flat plate mounts welded to plate then drilled hydroboost runs off 12 valve pump return runs from overflow valve to return line on frame rail with a T in it for the injector overflow don't ask me how to get the tack to work lol no one seems to know the answer I built 1 inch bushings and mounted the tone wheel on from of the crank pulley and built a crank sensor bracket but still no go anymore questions ill be more then willing to help with what I know

 

got the tack working tonight charging now
