12 Valve Project Up Grades

Hey guys , I just picked up a 95 2nd gen motor with 152k , its from AZ so no rust on this engine . I'm using it in a suburban I am building . The engine is a original auto trans .
I have a dodge NV4500hd with all the mods and upgrades mated to a 205 .
13" southbend clutch , presure plate .
I'm running a dana 60 up front and a 14 blot in the rear ... both are out of a m1008 military with 4.56's , not sure if that combination is going to be too high with a 36" or 38" tires .
I have 2 other cummins powered trucks and am pretty happy with the stock performance , this truck is going to be the toy .
Not sure from going from a automatic to the stick if I should tweak the motor a little more for the combination I plan on running .
Thats the motor before there pulling it , I talked them into leaving it in the frame and just ship it in the cradle.
Any thoughts are welcome .

If I were you I would at least do the governor spring kit and a mild plate, that should be a pretty smooth and powerful combo, it would wake the motor right up.

I don't want to over power the clutch , its 13" south bend . The engine is a stock auto but I am mating it to the NV4500 .
I did find a guy with a TST #8 fuel plate and 3K spring kit , of coarse I am going to run gauges .
Any body running the #8 ?

Thanks

If its a toy, I wouldn't even bother with a plate. If you feel you need a plate, grind the stocker to a 0 profile. Do the GSK for sure. I'd say get the 4k for two reasons. The 3k will leave you wanting more, and the small pumps don't respond as well to the GSKs as the bigger pumps do. With those mods, you still won't over power even the Con O clutch from SB.
