OK, I got my D-500 project figured out, now who has a good winch for sale?
I need a good electric winch that is rated for at least 8,000lbs or so. Anybody got one or know a good place to get one? ???If you want to know what I need it for read the last few post on the thread called, "pics for dieseldude4x4".

I regret to inform you that all winches for that year truck have been sold out and there are no more being manufactured. It is virtually impossible to find a winch for what you need to do for that truck. Hydraulics are also not a feasable option.

If you really wna tone I know where there is a pair of old ones about like it. One D-500 like mine except a longer wheelbase and a D-300 both have 318's and 4-speeds and no boeds ??? :
