#0 plate vs. #11 plate
I had the #11 plate installed with the strongest of the two AFC springs you get from TST, I removed that plate and installed my #0 plate in the same position, adjusted the gov. arm so that it contacts flush with the bottom of the plate and installed the weakest of the two AFC springs you get from TST. There is alot more smoke and power on bottom end, a butt load of smoke throughout the entire rpm range under hard acceleration, but it fells like mid-range is a little weaker, top-end acceleration is a little quicker, very aggresive to 3000 rpm. Iam also seeing alot more boost in the lower gears than before 15 psi in 3rd and now 30 psi in 3rd and 35 in 4th and 40 in 5th. Could there be to much fuel for the hx-35, shouldn't there be more power through the entire rpm range, maybe I need to have my timing advanced? It just seems to me that there should be more power, although it will slip the clutch through 4th on demand.
