My engine started surging at idle . I removed the EZ and it still would surge ( about 500 rpm)
I was in Laughlin Nevada on my way to New York so I made an appointment with the Dodge dealer and guess what as soon as I left the dealership ( Friday afternoon before Memorial day
appointment Tuesday morning) the dang thing quit surging cancelled the apointment.
Re installed the EZ and am now in Oklahoma city and no more surging. Is this a big problem?
Should I get it checked out even though it apears to have gone away?
More news down the road ! The EZ makes life a bit nicer without all the down shifting I had before. I disconected it for 300 miles and the fuel usage did not change but found out I must have been realy heating up my turbo running stock and did not even know it.

1. I would buy a set of gauges quick! (Pyro, Fuel Pressure, Boost) Also see if you can get a dealer to check your fuel pressure and volume for you.

2. I would check for CODES by cycling the ignition on/off 3 times rapidly. Check for the dreaded P0216 error...

3. Have you changed your fuel filter lately?

4. You might try a APPS reset.

5. You might fill out your signature so we can all help you... (Just a suggestion... )

I am now in Summit New Jersey and will head back toward the West Coast after the 4th of July holiday.

When I was in Chicago area The vehicle started to feel like the transmission was grabing when I was going along and would apply some power (it would just kind of jerk for a second then smooth out. I again disconected the EZ chip and everything went back to normal The vehicle ran fine to New Jersey but I missed
the power from the EZ Any Ideas????
