Here's the rear tire of my FZ1 after a day at the track last August:

Anyone can learn to ride these bikes. A little common sense and respect is all that's required.

How about nitro methane? We run that also... What you don't know is that I race this bike up hills that would make 99.9% of the population in America think "no way".
Here's a pic of my R1.... That will have nitrous next season.

My advice would be to get a litre class bike... 600's are for kids

i had an 03 R1 after i had a ninja 750, the difference was insaine. I can't even imagine what an 07 R1 could do as of now. Id say go for it, just don't ever bring it down to fort collins, 2 accidents in 3 years, somehow survived both with minimal injury and neither was any bit myfault. The worst part about a bike is that you can be doing everything right, yet one person doesn't see you...your done

You Knee-Draggin' guys need to watch out for the newly re-engineered '08 Buell.

that r1/dirtbike hybrid has got to be the scariest thing to ride on trails, lol. How does it keep traction with a 14k redline?

that depend on whether i have enough tools or not. LOL. i'll stick with import bikes. much better. not clunky, slow, annoyingly heavy vibration through every component, bike like the previous buells. rode the 9r firebolt. whata heap of crap. i hope they succeeded at the drawing board (for their sake). i guess if ya like that style of 'name-brand' - more power to ya. just my lil $.02.
