opinions on a Yamaha Grizzly

I found a 2000 Yamaha Grizzly 600...the guy wants $3,900 for it. NADA shows $3,820 average retail. It's got 2k miles, aftermarket 27" tires in darn good shape, plus two more sets of rims/tires...don't know what condition or brand though.
What do you all think about this machine and/or price?
Thanks!

2000 seems like alot of miles, more than most people where I live get to ride. I would look it over real good. Extras are mucho $$ so that counters it some, but look them up on ebay and autotrader etc for real pricing, as you may get lower miles for the same or less $$. Just my .002

Racked up 1k miles on my sled this past winter.....

Check it out Im not sure if that year allowed you to take it out of 4wd and they are a real Grizzly to turn when there in 4wd all the time ,...not to good for trail riding or just play. In 2000 their are alot of good atvs I suggest you do some research on all models because there is a night and day diffrence between each brand. I have a 2002 kingquad and I love it it has 36 diffrent gear options and its a real work horse I pull a trailer with 1/2 cord of wood up a hill in the snow to my back door about once a week , I also plow my drive way about 600 yards when its snowing , I pulled 600"S, 650 ect backwards when Ive droped chains with my buds they are not happy when a 300 pulls them back Its my littl' cummins 4 wheeler. btw its got both dif. lock and independent front and rear sus. I gave 4400 for mine brand new you can find a 2000 for much less they are the same bike nothing changed but you might have a hard time finding one but on the other hand in 05 the king will return in a 700cc efi model, ...tempting.......but it still doesnt have all the gears as the classic.
