i just got mine out in october. they didn't hurt until the day i went in to have the surgeon look at them. then they hurt like nobodys bussines till they came out the next weak. funny thing.

Are you sure you don't see these elephants and frogs all the time - just in different colors?

Sorry - you left that door wide open....

As for mine - I was 22, and I experanced way MORE than my share of pain Piror to the operation of taking them out. Lots of pain on the Left side for weeks, and the right side got very painful in the last week or two I had them in. Literally had to sleep flat on my back (and I'm a side-sleeper) and not even move my head or I would wake up from the racking pain. That was with 800 mg every 4 hours of ibuprofin.

So having them gone was a big relief...just wish I had not lost a few others since...
