It wasn't that bad. All I remember was talking to the guy about golf as he inserted the IV and then waking up. Talk about a trip. I don't even remember falling asleep. It wasn't as bad as I thought. My lower lip feels like it's the size of a house, I can't feel anything in my mouth at all, and I'm drooling all over the key board. Oh well. I'm waiting for my smoothie so I can sit down and watch Indiana Jones and a bunch of other movies. Later yall.

 

If you say smoothie out loud does it sound like "smoovy"?

Blue, what are widom teeth? Are they wide or ?

I had my wisodm teeth pulled and had to go to the drug store to get some meds.
There I am wondering why everyone is jumping to get out of my way.
I hand the script to the pharmacist and he laughs.
I was literally pouring blood down my face and shirt and had no clue.

Watch those blood clots in your mouth! I didn't have any problems when I had mine taken out...till I slept on my pillow on my cheek a certain way and popped one of the clots out...woke up in a pool of blood and rather alarmed and wondering if I was dying.

 

In a chinese voice....aww he just big baby.....I had my WISDOM teeth pulled while abck and I dont remember anything. Doc was talking to me about corvettes and next thing I said was Im related to John Linge and that was it he said. Got home drool'd the whole day and night couldnt open my mouth i thought i just got in a fight with someone and just got my butt whooped really bad. But give it 3 days and you will be good togo. Did they give you some CHLORHEXIDINE GLUCONATE.....aka "Oral Rinse" ? This stuff helped alot with the bleeding. If not ill give you the rest of my bottle. Have fun. And clean that keyboard probaly drooled all the smoovy on it.

Well, I made it through the 1st day just fine. I'm tired of smoothies and ice cream now though. The left side of my face didn't become un-numb till about 1 hr ago. I actually just took my first pain pill (hydrocodene or something like that). I've got just a small bit of bleeding on my right side but nothing terrible. They didn't give me any mouth rinse. All I can say is I'm ready for a large pizza, the 10 taco meal from Taco Bell, chicken nuggets, a hamburger, and an 18 pack. But I can't eat those till friday. Oh well.

 

On another note, I don't feel any dumber or smarter. Maybe once the medication wears off we'll see how that goes.

 

Man does it suck to be you guys.

I went to the dentist when I was about 14-15, and he had to tell me my wisdom teeth were there. I've still got 'em, and every dentist I've been to says they are staying in unless I want them out.

"DUH, I think I'll ask to get my mouth cut open, and walk around in a stupor for a few days "

BTW, I just had to pick on you guys.

 

I've still got mine at the age of 27. They ain't going anywhere as far as I'm concerned.

 

If you should be so unlucky to get "dry sockets", be ready to hit the pain meds. One trick I learned was to use a little clove oil on the sore spots. Pain goes away amost at once.

Drawback is that to this day I can not stand when the wife uses cloves in her hams.

Good luck and do not use a straw in anything for a long time. Voice of experience.
