Kind of a peeing contest, I don't think there's much of that going on around here. I've seen posts on other boards where guys rag each other about their post counts. So to try to "one up" the other guy they post on stupid crap that just clogs up the board.

I think the reason we dont fight for post supremicy is because after you reach senior member thier really isnt anything to accomplish . So we dont try........ if thier was a hurdle after every 50 or so post......... maybe things would be diffrent, the fact that thier isnt is what keeps the threads mostly serious . ALL HAIL DTR

Jack use to send a case a beer when you reached 500. Kinda kept the sight busy.....Hoss create a new I.D. (Javaluva) to get a nother case of beer. Every now and then, you'll see him using that other name trying to sneak around in here.

The old rumor that Hoss = Javaluva = Jack is rumor.....for the most part. 
There used to be nonsense threads like "three word story" and other stuff like that which floated around. Some folks participated in them just for fun while others used them to try and get their post count up.
Personally, I've never understood what the big deal is. Some people post a lot. Some people post a little. Some people post in between. Who cares??
