noticed behind the rear tire, one of the Jap trucks has a little pull down door.

that would be a nice place to put the stuff you put in the tank.

why don't DTR make a kit you can have your local body shop install?

and i have a hard tonneau cover on my truck.

and i NEVER remember to put fuel additive in once i get home.

oops. i should go see if i have any now, huh? been a few months since i ran anything..

I saw that, thought it was a neat idea, like on the old Fords. But my money says I would somehow render it inoperable, quickly.

Pretty cool. I like the funnel holder

And I wish I could keep my bed that clean.

I love the funnel "effect" 53Willys!

I don't run additives and haven't had any problem in 73,000 miles...so why start now.

I use the cardboard box from a case of oil. Holds all kinds of junk actually. I have chains, tow straps, fuel additives, fuel filters, oil filters, etc. I have a big Delo 400 box that came 6 gallon jugs and its pretty thick too. I guess that suits me for not having a built in tool box.

Have a good one.

I've always got a lot of stuff with me too. Guess I need a "truck purse".

Compressor, tie straps, jumper cables, spare lift pump, floor jack, tool box, spot light, fire extinguisher, etc. I'm thinking of getting rid of the metal box in the bed and going with a below bed box with a lift up cover in the bed. Made from an old bed where I can salvage a piece of the corrugated floor to make a lid.

I hate using up the space behind the seat and not having the full bed available when needed. Yep, a truck purse.

The ammount of fluids these trucks need wouldnt fit in any tiny little side compartment.

Besides, thats what crossboxes and chests are for
