Where to find 7" x 3" amber lights?

The Suburban in my sig is a former fire dept. vehicle. At one point in its life it had 7" x 3" lights installed in the front fenders. The lights are long gone, leaving some goofy looking holes. I'd like to install some amber 7" x 3" lights in there and wire them up as turn signals - but mainly to fill the holes. Does anyone know where I can find lights like this for a reasonable (say $50 - $60 a pair) price? I tried a local public safety equipment store, they quoted me around $160 for the pair.

My other option is to get those goofy stick-on louver panels to cover the holes.

ebay galls.com awdirect.com. I would guess if you buy them new that's what they'll probably cost you.

There's gotta be something cooler that you can use the holes for than turn signals...

Does anybody make driving lights you can stick in there? Could you duct some ram air through them? Stick a .30 cal out of one? Flamethrower?
