Talking Amber LED Running Lights

http://www.reconaccessories.com/Big%20Rig.htm

Any one try these out, I've been wanting to add some running lights to right under the rocker panels like I've seen on some trucks but can not decide on which one's I really like or know for sure what most people use. I seen these and sort of like them and it looks like it would be a real easy install. There again I don't want it to look cheesy looking like some lowriders you see with the green, blue, purple, etc looking lights that illuminate from under their vehicle.

I have those on my truck. They look ok, but not any where near as bright as what they should be. My fire & ice bar is much brighter. Someone told me to try a relay to and it would do the trick, but haven't had the time.
The way they wire up is to connect one lead to the parking light wire and connect the other lead to the signal light wire.

I have the red ones and they are every bit as bright as my Fire & Ice bar in the back! I only like Amber on the front and went Red everywhere else so that was my reasoning for doing the red ones and I am very glad I did! They are great!

I wish!! I have been writing about 75 pages worth of Philosophy papers and still have about 35 to go!!!

That, in addition to planning our overseas wedding has definitely taken away from my time on the board; however, that will be changing as of this Friday when all of my stuff is turned in!!!

Did you get the smaller size for your Quad Cab because looking at your truck pics it does not go the full length of the cab. They show a 48" for standard and regular cabs and 62" for extended and quadcabs.

Thanks guys for the reply's so far.

And as he is replying to every post, he is not doing a very good job of lurking.

I think he has mega(cab) remorse.

HAHAHA! Good spot Shane! The "E" and "W" are right next to each other! Either that, or I talk about trucks too much!

I don't "lurk". I am the Megacab's official Assassin; if you see me, then that means I want to be seen; otherwise, you had better be on the lookout!
