I took my truck in this morning for the CD player as it doesn't work much of the time. I told them that while they had it to activate the high idle feature and and the added time feature for the radio and locks to work after the key is off. How much time do you think they should charge me for the updates. I've heard it only takes a few minutes. They just called and said it is ready.

Those aren't updates.They have to be enabled but no download. .5 to 1.0 depending on what other work was done.They have the tool and knowledge to do such.

 

I knew I was probably using the wrong wording but I knew the people on this board would figure it out.

I'm shocked. I just got the truck back and they didn't charge me anything to do the updates. They didn't fix the CD player saying they couldn't duplicate the problem. I said,"You know what the problem is as alot of people are having the same problem and you are changing out the radios." They said if they can't duplicate the problem then it doesn't exist.
