Where Can I Find Some Clear Amber Clearance Lights...

....for the top of my truck? Actually, to clarify, where can I find some clear amber lens covers for the clearance lights I already have? I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but the shade of orange for the parking lights and the shade of orange for the cab lights is not exactly the same. This bugs me and I think if I could find some amber covers that are clear instead of the current foggy looking amber covers then it would be a closer match (and look cleaner to boot). Anyone seen any of these anywhere??

Hey, hoss. What color would clear amber be? I've kinda had thoughts along this also, and also for the wide load lights on the hips( as my wife call's them) of my dually. Those ones have a black plastic bucket and look like someone painted them with blackout lens paint.

Jeez.....I gotta explain everything.

Amber in color.....but a clear lenz instead of the "foggy" looking lens.

Here....a picture says a thousand words (for those of you who can't read)....

Clear Amber

"Foggy" Amber

So maybe "clear" and "foggy" aren't the best way to describe what I'm looking for....but I can't think of the right word right now.

The ones on our truck are the "foggy" type. I was thinking the "clear" type might give a better color match. Or.....a true clear lense with amber bulbs but I haven't seen those either.

The lights on my truck are clear amber. Try picking up a magazine called "Truckin". I'm 99% sure you'll find what your looking for in there. Man are you picky. Of all the things to knit pick, you pick the little orange clearance lights.

Hey.....it just bugs me that the cab lights are a different shade of orange from the parking lights. It makes them look like a cheap afterthought.

I was kinda looking for some clear lenses (thats clear - clear, not amber clear...just kidding). Personally the clear lenses with amber bulbs would look great to me ithout drawing much attention to the lights at all until they are on. Anyone seen any clear ones that will fit? GB

I kind of thought that same thing. Surely someone makes them....and since the bulbs in the park lights are the same setup then it would probably be a pretty good match.

Now you're gettin it....
Maybe the angle of the truck with the ton of cement in the back is causing you to see the lights differently??
