What's going to happen to Cummins if Chrysler is bought by GM?

The most likely option's to me are:
1. If GM is trying to cut costs then they'll probably end the relationship with Cummins if they get Chrysler and use the Duramax as there main engine.
2. Then Ford, who is in the stages of developing there own in house diesel, the Scorpion V8, will pickup Cummins in place of there former partnership with Navistar/International and control a larger segment of the market. They already offer a Cummins in the larger chassis's like the F-650 so it's not too far fetched.
