If you really want to see some loco's working, go to Horseshoe Curve in Altoona Pa. It is not uncommon to have four or five pullin and three or four pushin. The track starts up one side of the mountain, goes across between the two and goes up the side of the other one. Can't remember the name of the little town at the top they are going to though. Them wheels are really screaming going around that shoe you bet. I think there is a web site something like horshoecure.com or something like that. Real cool for sure if you like that kinda stuff.
I was banned per my own request for speaking the name Pelosi

Re:What is it ya'all do...
Got bored with college and went into the service as a Fire-Support Specialist(made artillary/mortars/close air support kill stuff). Been to a few continents, 4 years active, 4 years gaurd. Got out and went to the Michigan State Police a few years, then wrecked my motorcycle. After a couple of years off, came back as a dispatcher. Here I sit and collect a check so I can hunt, fish, play with the chainsaw, and work on the cabin. When cabin is done would like to start some wood working and build some flyrods.

Union Pacific Railroad - Train Dispatcher..... sounds intresting.
I grew up with trains and use to want to drive them. Is this job boring? Benefits O.K.? I'm always looking these days.

I'm a freelance computer tech in Austria. Main customers in the automotive supply chain and related industries. I plan networks for them. Other projects are things like an adaptive energy management system for clustering small thermoelectric units. Especially interested in renewable energy. (My CTD drives on that stuff too). General problem solver for lots of folks. Have spent my time in the service (Austrian Air Force- a joke in itself if you compare it to the USAF), Spent some time in Africa building networks and founding a company for small power stations. Once upon a time I went to High school and did an apprenticeship as a mechanic in a tuning company.
Ans some other stuff, like organizing and driving medical help to enclosed cities during the war in former Yugoslavia etc...
Sorry for the long post- Java asked for it ;D
AlpineRAM
