I work for Intel Corp. as an engineering technician. I sit in a cubical, write procedures, and look at trend charts. I also train engineers and maintenance technicians on the finer art of semiconductor manufacturing equipment maintenance and repair. Oh yeah, and read the forum ;D.

The only time I get to have fun is when the maintenance guys can't fix something and I get to turn wrenches again!

In short; I make sure that the equipment that makes your Pentiums, Celerons and Flash memory stay up and running.

In my spare time I raise 4 kids (OK, my wife helps a little ), brew beer and occasionally I get to work on my Power Wagon 8)

And when I'm done with all that, I dream of a new truck.....

Tim Way
Albuquerque, NM
Re:What is it ya'all do...

I asked the same question when I posted the picture. That is not mine but it was a very interesting tractor. I have been told it is a Ferguson TO 30 on stilts and that there were only six of them ever made. I also heard that five of them were destroyed in a fire and that is the only one left. I know it was also very interesting watching the guy back it off the trailer. You can imagine what the center of gravity is like on that thing.

What did you think of the rest of the collection?

I am responsible for the rolling mill.
Duties are maintaining HV,motor drives (AC & DC),instrumentation, and computers. Seems like everyhing has a cpu on it nowadays whether it needs it or not. I also train the youngsters on the equipment.

I tend to favor those old John Deere's though. Somethin' about that green and yellow combination I guess. I remember those old "poppin johnnies" in the hay field when I was a kid. CR[/quote]

I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay?
I sleep all night and I work all day?
something,
something,
I dress in women's clothing, and hang around in bars.

Old Monty Python song.
