Metal sucks. It's worse than fingernails on a blackboard while passing a kidney stone. I don't like things that scream and growl at me. I get enough of that from the wife.

Strange, I listened to the whole song. There where barely any lyrics at all, no screaming, no growls.

Personally I love some good metal. I helps me pass life stresses and pains, kinda like a kidney stone.
Rather than getting angry you can just work through it while you listen to music...

I had the 5 CD changer loaded up with these 5 bands last night as I worked in the shop till 10 PM.
There where as follows:

Black Sabbath [Circa late 70's when OZZY could still talk]
Deftones
Megadeth
Clutch
Corrosion of Conformity

Yes I still listen to CDs everyday - on a stereo I bought with money I made mowing lawns back in high school.

My "destressing music" consists of Tangerine Dream, Patric O'Hearn, Amathistium, Michael Sterns, and the like. I also like Bing Band and Classical.

Nice. Megadeth is my favorite band. I enjoy some Deftones here and there and also Black Sabbath's Paranoid album.

I'm still a classic rock and 80's hair metal guy. I love the musicianship of so many obscure bands. Also, the ease of finding the histories and stories is so accessible now.

I dropped off the spectrum around the Metallica era, too much growling and griping I guess. And then all these canoe jumpers that whored up with other players to form "ultra" bands....

Don't hate me, just an opinionizer from the mid 60'sI blame it all on KISS!
