2 days to go and hubby is home

We are in major countdown mode around here. My daughter gets so excited everytime I tell her he's almost home.

Hang in there, Chick. I know you are excited - - and we are too - - as well as proud of him. Hug him good for all of us.

Flash is back - - good girl. Missed that gentle touch and breakfasts were lousy while you were gone. You are right about some cool weather down here - - been quite brisk. Actually left the heat on all day today - - can't remember the last time I did that. Hey, better that than what happened up New England way.

What a day
A full blown DW(commissioned officer)I day. Never in the course of history has so many graduates of the same "BS in Stupidity" University been gathered together in such close proximity.
I'm fustrated, tired, and ain't looking forward to dealing with them again tomorrow.

Plain donuts are fine.
Just melt a chocolate bar in the mircrowave and, abracadabra!, instant dipping sauce.

Temps heading for the mid 50s here.
Hard to get used to "running at 3/4 throttle" at work, but if I put my mind to it, I can DO this.
(Still puts me at 99.999% more productive than the govt folks around here)
Much less stressful.

Coffee's good, but not great.
I miss the pine scent, and the little crunchy "bits" that used to float on the surface.

Y'all B safe,

Hola, is good this morning. Plain donuts ready to go, chocolate melting on the back of the CRT, should be ready in about 3 minutes.
Was just reading the companies news releases and came across this:
Raytheon's Quick Kill Achieves a First; Decimates 'Enemy' RPG in Test with Precision Launched Munition
That is excellent news, our folks in uniform really need this capability. Should save lots of lives.

Man, Y'all were a gabby bunch last night.
The Cooler was all the way back on page two.

Warm today (temps heading for possible 60s)
Work load muuuuch lighter than last week.
Less stress, more enjoyable working conditions.
I could get used to this.......

7 days and counting 'til Wifey gets home.
House cleaning detail will commence this evening.......

Coffee's on.
Regular, not that hazelnut-french vanilla-mocha foo-foo stuff.
I need a nice piled high scrapple sammich to keep it company.

Y'all B safe,

Sounds like a waste of 6 days to me. I don't even attempt to straighten things up until the night before she gets home.

Wiiiiiiiiindy here today. Was like driving a sail into work on the highway.
Thanks for the normal Ed.

Cold and freezing drizzle on tap here this morning 60 degrees Tuesday, and 33 today... gotta love Kansas weather...
Hopefully all the motorized missles will be either at work or safe in a ditch somewhere before I head home...

Coffee, pastries and maybe some eggs later....I could go for a big omelete with everything in it.

Ed, why clean it? it'll just be dirty again eventually....besides, if yours is like mine, I NEVER "clean" anything.. I just smear the dirt around and she has to come behind me and do it right...

Well, theres a cherry danish somewhere screaming my name, better go find it......y'all have a good'un...............CD

Howdy.

Sending the wifey to Colorado today for a mini vacation. She ain't gonna know what to do with 3 days and no kids. She sure deserves it. My v-day gift to her. I hope she doesn't go skiing .

Hopefuly, I can hold down the fort while she is gone. Might have to spend some time at the range . After all, she did buy me ammo for v-day . My young'uns ain't gonna know what to do without "mommy". Bet their behavior has improved before she gets back

Enough yackin'. I gotta get to it. Ya'll be good - JKE
