Brrrrr, chile week. Should be makeing good ice again though. Might try hitting a pond finally this year, later in the week. Pretty good showing for dinner Saturday. Donated $40 to the native American College Fund. Looked for some of you guys at the casino, at least until security started to follow me like I was stakeing the place out. Payed them back though, when I took the sargents test in a plastic cup, covered it with nickels and set it by the nickel slots. Back to my cooffee.

 

Some of the cold has gone away, the sun is shining, the sky is very blue, got the wifes car washed and the garden watered. Actually, out in the sun is now quite hot but the shade is still a cool 70 degrees. It's shaping up to be a decent day, for what's left of it. Was finally able to go out and do all my outside chores in my flip-flops and sandals. Hate it when I wake up to this freezing cold.

Gotta go by the Dodge dealer and get a new throttle linkage to replace the one I broke replacing the fuel filter...

Sunny morning here at the university of cincinnati. Going to ge in the mid 40's today, so I might just wash the truck after class. Skipping (don't tell no one) drawing class right now, to catch up on math and physics, and because I hate drawing. Going to the louisville farm show with dad tomorrow, should be A LOT more fun than this place.

I’ m back!!!

Wow this last couple of week has been something else. Think I’m going to lock the door turn off the phone and veg for awhile.

Went to Texas to straighten out some things that was going with the youngest son, that was a real mess.
Came back to NC was down in the bed sick with bronchitis for four days just before I had to leave for Florida for the Navy’s son’s wedding.
Was in Florida last week and it was cold except on Saturday for the wedding. Thanks for turning off the arctic blast for the wedding Scotty. The wedding was beautiful, as is my new daughter-in-law. Those two kids are so cute together, true friends as well as very much in love. I know they will be happy together.
Started home from Florida Sunday had an optical migraine thought my head was going to explode. We got a room, spent the night, and drove on in Monday. Picked up the dogs from the kennel and our big dog had gained 7 lbs. in the four days since Mr. Flash had dropped her off. She looked like a sausage with a head. I guess they fed her all she could eat and then some.

Anyway, it’s good to be back seems like I’ve been gone forever! What’s new and exciting around DTR?
