chaikwa.
Feel like I dodged a bullet here. Got maybe 2", and the roads melted immediately this morning. I didn't have to plow the driveway as it melted there too.
The worst thing about owning 2 CTDs is trying to decide which one to drive every morning.... If you have 3 or more, well, my condolences.

Lots of Mud, little bit of snow. Had a tree come down on the electric fence. Horses had investigated, but had not yet packed up and left.
Was switching over to the old mechanical fence charger after fixing fence. The boy was visiting and thought it would be great fun to light dear old dad up a little. Plugged that sucker in while I was kneeling in the mud fixing the last wire.
I"M AWAKE NOW, THANKYOU!!!!!!
Gonna have to think me up some payback

Oh well. As long as it stays dry for the 24th and 25th, I'm moving and don't need any snow/sleet/rain on those days!
I know how you feel. I've been shocked by those things several times while helping my dad move horses between pens. One of the times I was backing up and he was telling me how much room i still had when he evidently stopped watching for a split second. Well that split second was enough to allow me to briefly back into it. I don't think i've ever moved that quickly in my life. After a moment we were laughing so hard that we had to catch our breath.

No wonder Mom wanted to vacate Columbia Friday. Went up there to get her stuff from Columbia and we didn't even wait for rush hour to be over in DC, we just went around, down 301. Much nicer drive betwwen 15:00 and 19:00 on a Friday. No parking lots either.

Monday AM.
Roads are prety clear, even the side streets in my neighborhood were clear enough that my 2WD dually didn't have problem.
Coooold out though, mid 20s now heading for mid 30s.
Office is nice and toasty, coffee is hot.
I'm surprised the Govt didn't give all the GS'ers a day off.
Can't wait to see what "emergencies" are in the pipe for this week.
Hope it's a little slow today, still trying to recover from shoveling snow.

Yeh, it is nippy down here. I sent all the speedos back to Scotty. His are so big the safety pins kept opening and - -- - well, let's not go there. It is a little cool down here - - high of 53 yesterday, and 58 today. I turned the heat for the first time this year last night when we got home just to take the chill off. Noticed it is 67 in the house this morning, so the CFO will quickly turn it back on for a few minutes. Sure did smell when it came on - - could tell it had been a while since using it - - well, DUH, about a year. I was waiting for the alarm to go on and have the fire department pulling up. Heading for the 70's tomorrow - - yeh, more like it.
Take care up there in winter wonderland - - drive careful.
Bob
Morning folks,
Roads not to bad, secondaries still need a bit of sunlight to help them out. Lots of School closings so traffic was lighter then usual on the way in, but it is a sunny Monday, much preferable to a rainy Monday...

Hate you guys up north, YOU HAVE MESSED UP MY NICE WEATHER!!!!
Last night I actually got cold. Need to wash my wifes car this morning and now have to put it off for an hour or two so that the temperature can get above 65 before I venture out. It's now a really chilly 58 with a cooool breeeze, but nice and sunny. Please keep your dang cold up north of the border - preferably the second northern border. I have on my shorts and flip-flops, but may need to change to jeans and sneakers. Horrors!!!!
