On a countdown here. 4 more days and hubby will be home from Iraq. As long as flight doesn't get delayed too much, will be home for a nice long weekend.
Thanks tdo you and your family's sacrifice we can all breathe a little easier.
We finally got a little snow here-got about 3 inches(not enough), then it got cold-- 3 below wed. night and 13 last night. we need all the snow that we can get, we need the water.

So, what your saying is that Pistol will be doing some “undercover” work and won’t be able to communicate with anyone outside the operation for quite some time.

Good for him!!!

Early this morning I said that it was shaping up to be a nice day. I was wrong!. The day is absolutely fantastic!!!! I can't imagine one thing I could change to make the weather today any more perfect. FiverBob can keep his so-called Paradise. This is the real Paradise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just informed my wife that we are going to cancel the work that needs to be done today and take the rest of the day off and go out and enjoy this fantastic day. Probably start with having a nice Mexican lunch outdoors.
Ahhhhhhhhhhh .........................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The natives in Alaska have a similar thing called "Bannick". We had some at one of their villages. Pretty good but me thinks my fat count for that day went skyward.

Ahhh! I got the coffee made. We will be leaving in a few hours for a 500 mile trip South today to Wilson, NC then another 700 or 800 miles on Sunday. Good thing I found someone who hates flying as much as me. I was really hoping I would have my company up and running by now and I'd be taking a load of cars down to FL but that didn't happen. Next time. We will end up about 150 miles East of Bob in sunny Vero Beach for a week of ... working from "home" while my fiance is on vacation. Still should be nice to get away and into some warm weather!

We call that a heat wave!

It's colder than a well digger's butt. -5 F.

Keep that warm stuff to yourself 5erBob. You said you have having B-fast by the pool? I'm having B-fast ON the pool.

Feel really bad for you guys in the mid west that are getting dumped on. Makes me appreciate my weather even more. It's cool 60 degrees right now, but the temp is climbing rapidly and will soon be very hot in the sun. After it warms up a bit will go out and do some sprinkler repairs and get very wet in the process.

Mid to upper 20's here with about 3/4" covering of ICE with more on the way. So far, no ice on the trees and power lines. It's all been sleet.
Wife baking bread, a bit of wine is chilling, and I'm keeping a log on the fire.
Good day to stay holed up.

Pot-o-coffee gone, Scrambled eggs with a 1/2 lb o crisp bacon gone.
Time to get up and get moving.

I need to unload the "Poor Man's Aux Fuel Tank"* from the truck after last night's fuel run, and see if I can figure out how to get the MIL lamp to reset.
(I'm hoping ~5-10 start-shut down cycles will do it)

*six 5 gallon plastic fuel cans

And why did you get the MIL to start with? ,,,,,,,,, Have you been abusing the Beast?
Kinda nippy out today compared to the last couple of days,,, When is it going to be SUMMER? Still doing the 4x12's, so I'm not being too constructive this morning. Wifey informed me that a meece was swipe'n dog food and chowing down behind the dryer. I didn't think it was that bad,,,, (I mean, they like to get out of the cold and a free meal too). Then she showed me the remains of a entire box of Powdered Protien Shake mix that the little bugger finished off also! No wonder the Mexican-Micro-Mutts are scared to go into the utility room alone!

Y'all reckon a bear-trap would be over-kill?
