Tied a couple flies last night, man they turned out ugly. I guess I got a little rusty. If the fish don't like them, I'm sure they'll get lost on a snag anyway. Have to stock the flybox a little more, then ready for the river.

Sunny all day yesterday,rained on the way home, snow coming down wet and hard last night, sunny this morning, wonder what it'll be when it's time to go home..........Michigan for ya.

It's not only Monday , but my body is telling me it came an hour earlier than usual.

Temps in the 40s w/ a 19 degree wind chill..........tell me again about global warming......

On the bright side, I work inside, and the coffee is hot.

Saw some beeeeautiful country down John's way (South Carolina)over the weekend (Thanks JKE for the heads up) Rt 11 was a nice backroad into Clemson.
Going to file that away along with the realtor's number for future reference.

Is it just me, or is the ENTIRE state of North Carolina under construction?

Was at my uncle's last weekend while he was making syrup. Take a boiled egg, put a small crack in it and drop it into the sap while it cooks, mmmmmmm.
Did some brat's that way too.

 

Well, I'm still in Ct and it's still raining (what a surprise eh) and it's cold enough to freeze the, er ah, you know what off a you know what. And on top of that, I'm working nights and I have a screaming sinus headache.
Time to fire up the gas fire place again. Aren't expenses great?

 

71 here yesterday, all the snow is gone...could be 70 again today.
