UPS helped me on a Carrier & Gear Set. It was a few days late and repackaged and missing races and bent bearings and chipped teeth. Now they won't talk to me about it; only the shipper. Who won't return my calls and has my money. The chips were small enough (i hope, they just went in) that they are usable and I had to spend another $160 dollars on a install kit. They were brand new too.

Skewed is a real word.

That's in the thread title. Check the message I was quoting, it's spelled with a "c."

You guys are funny I just didn't want to put a harsh word in there. I think that skewed articulated my point well. I never thought I would get this much clatter over it though!

Thats not right, the person you bought the goods from has an obligation to deliver what you paid for and any problems with shipping are their responsibility. I had one of my customers get one of my kits stolen off his porch that he did not sign for so I sent him another one and UPS paid me for the lost one. Thats the way its supposed to work.

Hope you paid by credit card. If he won't talk to you, your CC company ought to be willing to listen and then help out.

I just got a lawn mower that I bought off ebay that was shipped FedEx and it made the ride upside down the entire way and no, the crankcase hadn't been drained. Talk about an oily nasty mess.

It was an individual on the TDR. I paid with check and it was out of state. He was using/sharing his brothers (TDR) account I think. He also shiped it through a another company. I've contimplated calling that company and starting something that way. Some times things suck, this was one but I think it will work out.
