SIXTEEN: Is there no where we can escape the kids????

It's a joke Mr. Moderator. You know, a ha-ha!!!

Yea cumminsdriver635, you can get some major ponies out of that motor. Between plates, injectors, working on the star wheel and some exhaust work, you can easily get it up over 500hp. If you have an auto there are limits as to what it can take without putting in a kit. THe torque will rip a 47re apart.

Yeah, my torque converter slips badly as it is. Anything over half throttle in overdrive with the TC locked up will make it start slipping. Hopefully this summer, i can save up some money, and ill get a good torque converter and valve body.

You probably already know this, but Genos has everything you need to make your tranny bullet proof.

Hey what is a sliencer ring that I keep reading everyone has removed? Is it anything like a muffler?

THe silencer ring is simply a cone shaped ring in the front of your turbo. It simply reduces turbo whine. Remove it and you'll hear your turbo better. However, it does zero, zip, nada for better performance, mileage etc.

Fairly easy to get out. Just be sure and get NO metal shavings in the turbo body.

Yep, they may well have removed it. If you want one, I've got five or six sitting around here. I'd be happy to mail one to you.

Hey Mymaur, I looked on www.genosgarage.com last night, but couldnt find any tranny upgrades except maybe an extra deep tranny pan or something. I couldnt find any torque converters or valve bodies. I was looking under dodge/cummins in drivetrain, but if im not looking in the right place, then if you could tell me where to go, or give me a link i would appreciate it.

Face it guys. You're behind the times. Your trucks are obsolete. Quit using the VCR and buy yourself a DVD player. Throw away the cassettes and get CD's.
Throw away the cassettes? I'm still using 8 tracks and 45 LP's. Is there something better?
