Vice-Versa, you have 12 valves to many, and some old electronic injection pump thingy.

Hey....more is better, right?? That's why we're all looking for ways to get more HP and torque out of our engines (which is understandable for those under-powered 2nd gen engines).

WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH RED?????????

Silly, those first gen's can't use reel to reel, the spools keep bouncing off the player. They use 8-tracks.

If you start a diesel engine, and you can't hear it, is it really a diesel?

Lets compare 2nd gen. truck dyno #'s to 3rd gen. truck dyno #'s, and see which gen. has more higher #'s than the other. More isnt better. If more was better, wouldnt you be driving a duramax or 7.3 powerstrokes because the have MORE cubic inches?

You want to compare stock numbers on the dyno?? That's the only way to be fair.

More cubic inches means bigger.....not more.

Good grief....I've been arguing with a 17 year old who doesn't even have a license yet.

You can't argue with an Aggie. We always win.

I always loved all the 2nd gen trucks I owned. And personally I think a 2nd gen truck has better lines than the new ones. You can put an honest to goodness two tone paint job on one.

I alos think they are a bit more comfortable than the new ones

But, I don't miss the noise. Love as much power as you can get out of them, I just don't care for all the racket.

2 cents
