OK guys, Charles the brother called me (Or Coy) and he is taking care of the issue right now and is supposed to send me a tracking number later on.

I removed the original thread until I can get more details as to what is actually going on here. Once I get the details worked out I will post it here, this way we can stop all the guesses and just go by fact

I don't know for sure, he may have been in another State at the time but I just don't have all the facts yet. In fairness I thought it best to shut it down until I do have all the facts.

I am supposed to get a tracking number later, lets take it one step at a time to see where we end up.

Tell ya what. DTR is NOT the site you want to try and burn someone on a product in the classifieds. Ex-Military, current military, ex law enforcement and current law enforcement either run this site or own this site. Having said that, I've personally been involved in other incidents of this nature and with these, the buyers have gotten the product because the seller was about to face jail time. Let this be a warning to everyone who tries this on DTR: You will not get away with it. We will find you and if we have to, we will prosecute you. Don't forget it. Good job Lary. This isn't the first and it won't be the last. I remember the one from Illinois who tried this multiple times until LE came knocking on his door.

^ It is nice to know that there are admins willing to help out if a deal does go bad. I have purchased and sold a few items here on dtr, and have always had excellent experiences. Thanks for making it like that.

Personally, I would have no problem calling the law on a thief... I would spend as much of my time to track someone down that was dishonest with one of our members as I needed to.

No problem making a house call if they were close enough, either... Legally, of course...

Cudos to the Admins here! I got ripped off once from the classifieds, I never did get my item , but Jack and Lary helped me get my money back without driving myself to Illinois.

I hope this works out and the turbo is delivered, but I am still curious to see some sort of proof that that seller is actually injured, and not just shipping the part now to cover up attempted fraud.
