Hey Hoss, a little off the subject, but what kind of endorsement on your driver license does Texas require to drive a 23 passenger church bus? I seem to remember when your church moved from a van(s), but nothing about you taking a CDL test...
In NC you can get a bus endorsement that is something less than CDL but I haven't done so.
Nat
You have to have a Class B CDL with a passenger (P) endorsement.

Hoss if they have short vavle stems the threaded protion can be too close to the wheel to get the air chuck on the stem. I have that problem on mine. As mentioned, extentions with cure that problem. It sounds like what you are dealing with. The small extentions about an inch or longer will do that truck to cure the problem that I just mentioned.

That is exactly the problem. I'll try some extensions and see if it helps.

It helps because you add air as needed by hitting the lever, and when you release, it has a built in pressure guage.
PSSSST Ed, my birthday is coming up. Megan needs to know where to get one.

While doing some internet searching to fix my problem, I came across that same chuck at Northern Tool & Supply:

I bought mine at the local Non-Chain Auto supply store where I buy all my auto parts.
(Advance Auto, Pep Boys and the like around here don't carry many parts for Chrysler products)

I have always doen my tires the same way.... for 30 years. I use a clip on air chuck and a regulator set for 80 pounds. Just clip it on and do something else. Currently I am using a regulator from a broken set of torches, but have a couple of cheap air regulators around.

Not such a big deal on these tires but years ago when I had a 14 year old son helping me, a brand new 24.5 tire got blown up and luckly he did not get hurt, so came the regulator. It is easier when you get used to it and you don't have to shadow over a big tire to get it full.
