Stillwater Minesota to Baltimore

Is there anybody that can Haul a boat from Stillwater Minesota to Baltimore ?
My friend is trying to make a deal with a 42 ft Baja on a triple axle trailer ,and want it to ship it over to Europe ,the roll on roll off ship leaves from Baltimore and sails to Amsterdam Europe .

According to the owner its +- 1000 miles ,we have to come over to Stillwater Mn to look at the boat and make the deal.

My truck is here in Europe ,and I would love to pull this 16000 LBS boat and trailer with my rig ...

Does anybody know if there is a company that does rental trucks ,or something that can haul this boat ,that way we can do the hauling ourself ,and leave the truck in Baltimore .

I hope you guys have some ideas about this .

thanks A.J

Is it a standard bumper pull trailer, or a goose? Surge brakes or something else?

Is this the white boat with triple 7.4's? I've seen boats like this around here being pulled by full sized pick-ups.

Probably closer to 1200 miles.

I've got a class 5 receiver hitch , multiple ball mounts and a fold down ball for goose .
Wouldn't mind making that trip .
I'm about 20 miles from Stillwater .

Looking for any tips on either side of this story , I've seen that to do this in a non commercial way is limited [ for hire ] , I'm told that the beam is 9" , a few yrs ago , the rules went to 8 1/2 " .

Do those large Ryder Vans have trailer hitches on the back of them? Rent one of them one-way. I did a house-hold goods move with them once, and they'd pull that boat for sure.

You've got a couple turnpikes to travel on, but I don't think they'd bother you. You don't have to worry about weigh stations.

Not to be a spoil sport here, but most people stray away from boats and high end RV's because of the liability. It's not uncommon for offshore boats to get up into the 5 to 6 Hundred thousand range. I wouldn't want to get tangled up and lose a 42' boat in the median.

Just something to consider, don't believe the old "what you are towing is covered by the towing vehicle" jargon.
