Stainless rocker panel removal.
Stainless rocker panel removal.
Since im hanging on to my 95 Its time to get it the way I want it. It has the stick on stainless rocker panel kit on it. I think it looks cheasy so I`d like to get rid of them. Anyone ever attempt this? Im told they use 3M 2 sided stick em to hold em on. Is there a professional grade adhesive remover that wont ruin the factory paint? I considered if the paint was ruined under it to have the bottoms of the truck Rhino lined or? But it seems like if it gets muddy and dirty you`ll never get it clean cause its to porus and rough. Any advice will be appricated.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I used Klean-Strip's Prep-all from autozone to remove the 6" wide plastic strip from my tailgate. It's sold as a wax and grease remover for painting prep work. The paints slightly scruffed where ever the tape was, but it buffed out nicely by hand.
