STAINLESS STEEL ROCKER PANELS
Re:STAINLESS STEEL ROCKER PANELS
I have them.....And have to say Id rather not have them now. They were on the truck when I bought it and they do look good when they are new but you do have to polish them....and they do oxidize and look crappy if you dont.
I would prefer to spray bedliner on the bottom of the entire truck and the mount some fender flares. This (or running boards) will give you the most protection.

I have to contradict Dr. Evil and say that i DO like them...so far i've had absolutely no scratching or rust problems. I just clean them with plain old soap and water, but having said that.... you'll probably end up washing your truck twice as much as normal because you'll not like having that nice shiny chrome covered up with dust and/or mud!

I've run a variety of stainless rock panels over the years, and overall I like them. But don't go cheap. 0304 stainless steel is the only way to go (anything else will scratch and rust) and they will need some care over the years to keep them looking good.

Not sure even what brand mine are since they were on the truck when I got it - so really dont know what grade of SS they are. As Rod said, they do require upkeep to keep them looking good....
