Line X Rocker panels and Bedliner

I had my rocker panels sprayed and an over the rail bedliner put in by Line X. I think it turned out pretty nice. There are more pictures in my gallery.

I had it done at the Line X dealer here in town. It was almost as much for the rockers as the bedliner. Lots of Labor they had to mask off the whole truck. You can find a dealer and a 20 dollar coupon here:

So you spent something like $800 for that? Ouch. If I had the cash I'd do the same. That stuff is the best out there. They don't even advertise like the rhino does.

I am getting mine done on Friday. I had the 01 rockers/door sills and over the rail. Not sure I am going that route this time as one of my sponsors has put the clear 3M tape on for free on the rockers. I am still on the fence about over the rails or do a bed rail cap...in black or maybe dark black...black probably.

Rod is taking my factory bedliner and I am sending my folding bed cover back...its been a nightmare from day one. I had holes not threaded, missing parts and when some of the bolts with lock washers came loose I nearly lost the whole thing on the highway today!

Pace Edwards Roll top again...last one I had for 7 yrs on different trucks.

MedicShawn - When they sprayed your rocker panels, did they take the rear bumper off to spray where the rocker panel bends around the back end or did they just "feather out" the spray?
I've been wanting to do mine, but when they did my dads truck, the spray didn't completely get around the back end of the truck. And against a white truck, it's noticable.
You're truck is black, so I'm sure it would be hard for anyone to tell. But, I'm thinking I'll have to take my bumper off before letting them spay the rockers.

They taped of the rear of my rocker panel when they sprayed mine. They taped mine on the back corner so the whole side is covered. I'll take a picture for you but mine's a nice clean line. There is some overspray in between the doors inside on the door sill. My truck is black so it doesn't matter. There's also a little bit on my frame rails, but a very small amount. You might want to also make sure they either tape or remove the wheel well screws for the liners. I also removed my bodyside molding before they sprayed it. They offered to leave them and line X them but I decided to remove them instead. Shawn

What type of folding bed cover do you have?
I got the one from DC, I installed it myself and just love the thing.

Same one. It arrived with missing parts, and untapped holes for the clamps. The hardware was/is a mess...the kit was taped shut like it was opened, maybe pilfered. LOL
