I would LOVE to do that!

I wouldn't do any better than the guy in the video, but I'd still love to do it!

That looks sweet! Got to meet the angels team once in boy scouts, Local guy does military aircraft carvings/plaques and presents them to NAVY officers allover the US. He has the scouts help in the production of the Angles presentations. We got the VIP back stage passes and spent the day with all the pilots and got to watch the day before show show (practice) Of course being a NAV AIR town we get the Angels hear on a pretty regular basis. Guess we are just spoiled, then we get to go down to Edwards AFB and watch the thunderbirds

I guess you kinda of lose the wonder when family day is walking around the tarmac/labs/ test facility's (that we are aloud to see) and your dad Brings home inert sidewinder missiles to work on for displays and modeling for the next gen sidewinders. The Blue Angles are still really cool, wish I could fly someday.

It's 5:05 AM and I'm sitting in the control room office with tears running down my face. The poor guy looked like he was really trying his best to maintain. And the pilot's voice is so calm like he's sitting in a Lazy-Boy recliner. It amazes me that they can train enough to overcome the stress that type of flying can put on the human body. Like chaikwa said, I wouldn't do any better than the guy in the video, but I'd still love to do it! I think I could keep from barfing just long enough to get back down on the ground.

I do no think of myself as a coward by any means, BUT, I am not sure I could do what those guys do...grande cahonos....grande.....translate as "very brave"

I 'd love to see if I could handle the ride-along tho......even if I puked and cryed like a little school girl, it would be sooooo cool.....

When I work on the flight deck of the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln CVN-72 ( I worked the catapults). The Captain had a raffle for E-6 and below for charity. Whoever won got to go for a ride in an F-14. I put $100 in but of course i didn't win but the kid that did was a mess cook straight from bootcamp and he never flew in his life.

The pilot asked him if he wanted the ride of his life or to just take it easy. Well, he picked what I woud have picked. That pilot just used and abused that boy right in view of the whole ships crew. His ride lasted for over an hour. It was awessome and the kid said he puked twice.

I worked the flight deck non stop for four straight years. every single day I smelled those horrible smelling things and the noise made me about deaf. I have been blown down the deck by them, had them launched on me while I was STILL underthem, and unhooked them from the catapult while they were sitting there at full power and actually on fire. But, I still LOVE the Blue Angels and have seen the them five times now since I got out of the Navy. It never gets old and is a great demonstration that Naval Aviators are the finest pilots in the world. ( sorry Air Force guys)

My Brother-in Law is an electronics tech for the Va Air National Guard and he works on their jets. After several years he finally got a chance to take a ride in one and he hurled all over himself too.
Funny.....
