With Regret

Whitney Houston's death at age 48, while a sad thing, was the direct
result of very unwise life choices. It dominates the news.

Charlie Sheen is 45 and his story is all over the news because he is a
substance abuser, an adulterer, sexually promiscuous and obnoxious.

Lindsay Lohan is 24 and her story is all over the news because she is a
celebrity drug addict and thief.

Something as frivolous as Kim Kardashian?s stupid wedding [and
short-lived marriage] was shoved down our throats, While........

Justin Allen - 23
Brett Linley - 29
Matthew Weikert - 29
Justus Bartett - 27
Dave Santos - 21
Jesse Reed - 26
Matthew Johnson - 21
Zachary Fisher - 24
Brandon King - 23
Christopher Goeke - 23
and Sheldon Tate 27...

Are all Marines that gave their lives last month for you. There is no
media for them; not even a mention of their names.

I know it's pathetic what the media & Hollywierd thinks is important. I'm not into reallity tv or any of the lack of entertainment shows. I often wonder who that junk appeals to. And to think some of these people vote.

Seems as though the media and Hollywood have got their priorities all messed up! As we all know they wouldn't even have the freedoms they have to express what they are writing if it wasn't for the men and women of our armed forces that have given their ultimate sacrifice from the past and present. Thanks to all who have served and are serving, stay safe and out of harms way.

Unfortunately, people are more interested in watching these attention starved hollywood idiots performing for the masses than facing the reality of what's really going on in our world and respect those who quietly do the jobs that allow them to continue to live their lives as j#$% offs!

Whatever happened to the stars of the past who immediately signed on to fight to preserve the lifestyle that provided them the opportunity to do what they loved and live a respectable life?

Ted Williams, Cary Grant, Elvis, Audie Murphy and Jimmy Stewart are only a few I can recall who not only joined up, but left a cushy lifestyle to fight, possibly to not return.

Hollywood and other media folks should be ashamed of their cowardice to fight to keep this country straight.

Name an actor who is currently serving in the armed forces and not flapping their lips about some stupid issue that doesn't concern this nation.. I bet there aren't any.

And to the latest group of true American Heroes who paid the ultimate price,
Rest in Peace and please know your sacrifice did not go unnoticed by this American or his family.

Audie Murphy became an actor after the war as a result of his service... he came from a hardscrabble family and barely made it in because of his small stature. Boot camp was a step up for him.

There were others like Clark Gable and Glenn Miller who wore the uniform but played in mostly REMF roles. Although Mr. Miller was lost over the English Channel.

Williams and Stewart, Stewart in particular had their war-time roles. Stewart famously as a B-24 pilot.
Stewart also famously rose from private to bird colonel in four years during WWII. He retired as a Brig general and was promoted to Maj Gen by Reagan. Williams was in San Francisco shipping out when the war ended and didn't really do anything until the Korean war where he had an undistiguished career flying F-9 panthers.

sorry, a little off topic but neat stuff nevertheless.

Not a movie star but a hero in my eyes is Pat Tillman who gave all and gave up all for our country. Had a great pro football future and more money than the Army Rangers could ever give him. He has had alot of press and a book written about him compared to the ordinary soldiers and sailors just thought I'd throw it in as to how much he loved his country and his brother who went ranger too he was also on patrol the same day and same operation but got seperated when Pat got hit by friendly fire.

Sadly, it IS a new generation!! With a different set of morals & ethics.

As the Gipper so famously said, "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction." – Ronald Reagan

The movie industry is crying the blues with dismal theater ticket sales! I say THAT'S the way to teach 'em!!

I BOYCOT all the movies with ANY progressive actors, agendas or production staff!! Which means, of course, I go to VERY FEW movies these days!! NOT TOO great a loss, as it appears that the Hollywood crowd has run out of ANY original ideas and can ONLY seem to make re-creations" anymore!

If more people would learn from AND use the progressive's playbook and boycott movies, guess what?? The "hollywood idiots" would have to get a REAL job and wouldn't have the wherewithall to support or vocalize all their socialist, progressive anti-American agendas!!

Gov. Christie requested that the U.S Flags over N.J. be lowered for ms. houston!! AND for the U.S. Military personnel from N.J. that DIED in SERVICE to the U.S.A.?? NOT A PEEP!!

Meant to include Pat Tillman in my rant.

A true modern day Warrior-Hero.

Thank you J_Martin!!

Was so sick of hearing about poor Whitney and "America's" whatever. All I could think was, shut up! Let's celebrate the death of the puffer head or pill head. Told my kids exactly what I thought so they would not buy into the media b.s. All I could think of was, plant her already and get it over with.
