GEEEZZZ I regret selling so many different cars and trucks. Every single one had a special meaning to me but for some stupid reason I always got bored with them and sold them!!

I had a 66' Chevelle that I bought when I was 14 that I had a blast with, but ended up selling it after I bought a couple other toys and wish I never would have!!!

I also had a 67' Chevy Truck 4X4 w/ a built 396 in it that was / and is still my dream truck. Well the body was pretty trashed on it, so I bought a 69' 2 wheel drive that had a laser straight body on it and was going to do a body swap but my good ol' dad let me down on that and I ended up selling them. REALLY WISH I WOULD HAVE KEPT THOSE!!!

I have a 70' GTO ( pic in gallery ) that I am not gonna make that same mistake with. That sucker means the world to me and I am not gonna let it go for anything!

Just sold (4 years ago) , my 69 plymouth roadrunner. Seems the monitary value of them has been skyrocketing every since the day i sold it.
More than that I miss it. Sat in the garage most of the time but sure was fun to drive when i did get it out and drew a lot of attention.

I had a '79 Chevy c20. Bought it for a grand. Had awesome bodt and axels. Trans was good but it had a dead cylinder. Tried all I could do with it. Sold it instead of rebuilding the engine. Wish I still had it to romp in the mud with.

I regret selling my 72 Chevy truck, my 68 Volvo 122s, my 68 Dodge dart sport special, my 63 Chevy impala, my 95 toyota truck........ heck theres only a couple of vehicles that I actually LIKED getting rid of... one being a 72 pinto haha

I forgot to add... the 68 Volvo 122s I bought for $50 from the original owner. It had 4 new tires and a new spare (5), looked brand new without so much as a tear in the seats. The guy had the original sales brochure from 67 when he bought it and records of every bit of maintenance on the vehicle from day one. It also had a new radiator and a box of other new parts. I drove the dogmeat out of that car until I got 368k on it and it developed a rod knock. Then I sold it for $700. I saw one in the photo-ad the other day in halfway decent shape and it was going for $6000. :0(

My first vehicle. 1989 Toyota 4x4. 5" lift w/ 2" body kit. 33's. IFS(Independent Front Suspension), a sound system that would make your ears bleed and bunch of other goodies. That truck would go up anything. Sideways, backways, frontways, it didn't matter. I got rid of it to get the truck I have now, so I consider it a equal trade-off.

Vehicular history

Hmmm

i dont know but my first truck was by far better than my second truck, My cummins is my third. My first truck was a 1983 F 150 4x4, lincoln locked on both diffs, new warn locking hubs, 300 ci 6 cylinder, 4 speed granny low, and 31 inch mudders. Toolbox, headache rack, custom bumpers and rims, not the most powerful engine but man it would pull! and in the mud, it was just like a mosquito over the water, wouldnt sink down for anything, kicked **** in the sand too! Brand new interior, sound system, tool box, and just a two door shortbed truck painted dark blue. Id like to have that one back. OH yeah and new motocraft carb, new accel plug wires, and distributor cap too about 18-25 mpg on it... This truck i sold for 2500 bucks, and a gorgeous mexican blonde woman bought it, I asked her if she could drive a standard, and her reply was I can drive pretty much anything with a stick... umm hello is what i was thinking, she bought the truck cash and drove away, I aint seen that truck since. My dad then found my second truck in San Antonio, it was sorta my reward for getting scholarships and deans list my first college semester. Bought the Next ford on December 16 2002. Bryans Auto Sales in San Antonio Texas

Second truck i was glad to get rid of when the time came. 1993 F 250 7.3 IDI, gauges, ATS turbo (whoppin 13 lbs of boost ) about 230 rwhp at best im betting, It was white, long bed, alcoa rims and caps (my favorite mod, got them for 250 bucks ) red 4x4 sticker, 4.10 trailer yanking rear end (literally) 265 tires on it when i sold it, headache rack toolbox and rear bumper from previous truck, gooseneck hitch, sound system from previous truck, and motor was all stock except for the ATS turbo and the magical K&N airfilter.

Now i got my goodies back because this is what happened. I needed to sell the truck cause of two things, one i needed and extended cab, and two i was goin to montana for an internship and I needed money. I had an X gf at the time and well she was more problems than i care to remember, sad thing is now, i understand shes in some bad shape.. too bad.... Anyways I put the truck in the newspaper and 60 miles south of Laredo, in Zapata, a guy had called that he wanted to see the truck, so i washed it and drove it down to Zapata just for him. We negotiated on a price of 5500 dollars when he saw the truck. I was having IP issues at the time with it so i made sure and left it idiling and told him it might need a shot of ether to start in the mornings. So what he did was that we drove to the bank, and he said, i will give you half today and pick up the truck tomorrow in laredo, i was like ok sir, that is fair. WRONG.. he came out and said, were drivin to Laredo ive got some stuff to do in town anyways, so his worker son or whatever followed us to Laredo, We got to my house and he handed me 5500 cash, and said, OK son, we are here, NOW U HAVE ONE HOUR to get all of your (insert famous four letter word here) out of my truck!! Im timing you!. Ok so all of a sudden mr nice guy started to be a jerk. So my little brother and I went at it, took out the system, hitch *****, recievers, clevises, amps, i even took off the front drive shaft for the 4wd. and i was gonna give him the new IP and reciepts for everything but he kinda ticked me off, we took off the custom tailgate as well, kept the stocker, took off the rack, and everything else, we did leave him the box tho, i had no use for it. This was on May 16th 2003, So he came back and the truck was stripped, had I some stock steel rims with tires, the alcoas would have come with me, and i wish i did, cause i want those rims again! After some cryin and moaning he left with his stripped truck mad as can be, but what can I say? i had my money he had his title, even trade and he left..... Falty IP and everything. I seen the truck in Zapata before, Its hooked to an RV and when i did talk to the fella he swears it outpulls any dodge.... glad he is happy, he had the time and money to fix it....

May 20th 2003, My uncle JL who found my current truck told me about it, and said i got it for u at a steal, just take the money, pay him, and drive the truck off, I know what u want, and i know its history. So i did and the rest is history.... Got me a truck that i am nothing but proud of.....

Shovelhead, my heart is breaking for you. My bother-in-law (no, I didn't misspell it, he is a bother) sold pretty much the same car. I had a hunch he'd regret it.

Oh well, you could pick up one of those new Challengers coming out...

'77 CJ-5 with the Levi package interior. 304, 3sp manual. Had a little rust that I fixed. It was a lot of fun but I may be too old to put up with a CJ-5 these days.

Yeah, the denim seats with the jeans style buttons. Small dashboard to match. Bought it in '87 with 29,000 miles. Sold it because I was driving in rush hour traffic in St. Louis and CJ-5 aren't real stable. After I sold it I would see it all the time just to prove to me I shouldn't have.

Is that a typo? A 149 original miles? I don't see how you could own a car like that and never drive it. If I had something like that it would have more miles on it that my cummins. That's a b-e-a-utiful car right there.

I've only owned one vehicle in my life. It's the one in my sig. I ain't never gonna get rid of it. Although the thought has crossed my mind when I'm down or it's broke, but I couldn't bear to let my baby go. She's been to good to me and I love it to much.
