Here's my past love of my life. She may be gone, but she'll always be inside my heart for as long as I live......

What do you mean we're not at the beach ????

Jim,
I took that picture for that very reason. The photo is of a real street about 6.5 miles from my home. It's a "back street" so it doesn't get much use as it just leads to a few small developments and a golf course. I just couldn't believe what I was looking at, so I snapped a photo of it.
Been that way..... from what the neighbors say.... for at least 8 years...

Nascar Fans?
I was a Dale Earnhardt Sr fan so naturally I follow Little E now. It was good to see him win last week. A friend of mine is at Sears Point (Infineon) this weekend and took this pic from his cell. Go Git em Jr !

My wife, son and daughter get me these because they know how much I like racing.
I get to race in a NASCAR sprint car at Auto Club Speedway
16 laps up to 150 MPH around a 2-mile D shaped Oval with 14* banked turns.
Driving one of these cars is actually quite a bit of work, you are constantly doing something every second you are moving.
It appears that since the last time I went in 10-22-2011 that someone had crashed #38 and scratched the paint on all body panels.
How cool would it be to have the front of Jimmie Johnson's car in your living room?
I have done pretty much everything I have ever wanted to do in my lifetime so far.
Things on my Still To Do list.
Fly Helicopter
Fly in an old War-bird (Mustang or Corsair)
Skydive (wife won't let me)
Private Pilot

Bike Trip
A couple cell pics from my ride to Washington State to visit my son and family. First one is in his garage the night I arrived, two very slick HD V-Rods together. Next one is my kid on his new ride. Next couple is my bike along the Columbia River on the Oregon side, there were wind turbines for miles. The last one is my very tired and sore butt chillin' at Bend Oregon Days Inn with a little buddy.....or six
