I have not made it to Taylor Park "yet", perhaps we should offer each others guide service on a multi-trail ride.. Ironton (to the left of Animas Forks) has good camping with access to Cork-Screw Pass / Alpine loop.
The only part of the Loop that requires a shuttle is from Lake City to lake San Cristobal.

Utah. We did this in 08 and 09. We lived on the machines for 6 days at a time. Took all our food and gas and camping gear with us and did a 500 mile loop and hoped to find the truck back at the end of the week. We would find a town every couple days and get more gas and food and take showers.

A camp trailer I built so that the wife dident have to sleep on the ground. This thing was a pain to pull so the second year she slept on the ground.

Not planning on getting anything till spring. I haddent looked at AC in a while but that may be a good option if they have a 4 seater on the way. The only real problem is that my local dealership just dropped AC last year so I would heve to drive forever to get one. That and the T4 is so cheap compared to all the rest.
Smog, smog, you want smog we can give you smog.Look at pictures of the Los Angeles Basin in the 50's and 60's.Then you had smog. Your eyes would water and your nose would run."According to the experts",living in LA at the time was like smoking a pack of cigarets a day.Today pfft ain't no big deal.

Charleston, SC in the winter wasn't a picnic either. Sulphur dioxide from the paper mill on a foggy night coupled with coal smoke was like burning plastic.
Wow,
Did you see all the smog in the air in those pictures ? Must be hard to breathe.....

I was being facetious about the smog...
