UN Lucky Duck... Lucky Pilot

We had a bird/duck strike on one of our Cessna 402C's yesterday while on approach to Chico,Ca. The poor duck luckily for the lone pilot went though the unoccupied co-pilot windshield. This could have proven fatal had the duck hit the pilot side. It was nasty and smelly in the cabin while my co-worker Wayne (pictured} and I did a temp repair to get the plane back to my airport.

Wasn't it somewhere in Tennessee that the exhaust from a paper mill would mix with fog and cause a white-out on I-75 and they ended up with some real bad accidents?

Seems to me it was, because south of Chattanooga they have digital speed limit signs that they can change the posted limit.

Nice can repair!
That's a 71 blazer with a 350/350 auto towing my camper. Trailer is
a 21 foot ultralight. Only weighs around 4k pounds. I put a hugh big block oil cooler and 2 trans coolers in it. towed it 6500 miles through Alaska with no issues....other than getting 8 mpg in 2007 with gas over $4.00 per gallon.

that is a pretty nice looking blazer. i knew the tail light didn't look quite right for a scout but the body looked right.

That looks like a coke can repair...

I've had better luck with budweiser cans, myself. Any beer that causes me to have headaches like bud does, deserves to be attached to my exhaust system.....

Or it could be because pics hosted by another site via their attachment system doesn't show up unless a person is logged in that particular site.

Use a photo host link instead.
