Who would win bumper to bumper?<br><br>Both trucks are 1995s. Mine is a dually (obviously) and she has a 2500. <br><br>I maintain that I should be able to pull her all over the parking lot! What do you guys think?

Well - compare power:

1995 GM 454 (last year of the TBI setup) 235 hp, 385 lb ft [undecided] Hard to believe, only 7 years ago, now, we have a small blocl 5.7 that makes 110 more hp, and only 10 less lb ft.

Your 95 is, what, 160 hp, 400 lb ft? She'd probably win a drag race, but you can outpull her!

What are the gears in the Chevy? What are the Gears in the Dodge? Who is heavier on the back axle? Who is heavier over all? The Dodge is a 3500 DRW of course, and the Chevy is a SRW 2500?? My money is on the Dodge..... Besides, she'll break that TH700R4 (Or was it a 4L80E??) before she'd overcome your four rear tires...

Trust me. I had a 454 crew cab dually.<br><br><br>You'd drag her to town and back backwards!!!<br><br>454, much much quicker but does not have the bottom end low down grunt your 5.9 makes.<br><br><br>also, you have 4 tires on the ground pulling!<br><br>No comparison.<br><br>But hey, why not try it and take some pics for us?? ;D<br><br>sounds like fun!

 

If this deal goes down, I'd be glad to take pictures. Maybe even a movie, if I can gather up the equipment.<br><br>I didn't know the specs on the 454, so that's the main reason why I asked. And heck, it took me nearly an hour to find the specs on my engine. Not very easily obtained information on the web.<br><br>
