WHOOOOOO HOOOOOO got nearly 3.5 inches last night. At DFW airport it had been nearly 40 days with no rain (don’t know why it would matter no one lives at the airport) here at the farm it was more like 47 days without rain. The last good rain we got was in mid April. I’m thankful and happy.

I got rained on while going to TX and rained on on the way back but it was still dry when I loaded the trailer last night. Thanks TX. My truck hates mud when it's pulling a trailer.

Dang Hoss! Didn't realize you were so close.

Rain was definitely appreciated here. Just had new sod put down last weekend. Was cringing every time I had to water last week. Hate to see this month's water bill.

I have no way to confirm it, but someone at church told me we got 8 inches of rain in our area in two days. Not too shabby. We needed it.

I haven't been down here too long. Ever since March I think. We're renting a house in Round Rock right now but we're about to buy a house in Georgetown.

Big Spring got some rain for 2 days in a row, hail one of those days. We have been awhile with out a flood. The joke around here is it rains 14" a year and you don't want to be here when 10 of it comes.

Derek, you ain't gonna believe this but yesterday, while Pasadena got a full rinsing, all we recieved was about 1.5" worth. I partially drained our pool in anticipation of the big deluge they were forecasting to come. Now Saturday was a different story, we recieved 4.5" in 1 hour.... It all got soaked up, except what fell on my dirt road, which turned into a slop hole...LOL
